Electrical fire at house in Ribbleton

Firefighters were called out to a house fire in Ribbleton on Sunday morning.

An electrical cabinet caught fire at the property in Cromwell Road.

Crews from Preston Fire Station attended.

Firefighters said all involved escaped to safety thanks to a working smoke alarm.

Two people were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
