Car recovered from railings after Walton-le-Dale crash

A crash closed a main road in Walton-le-Dale during Friday afternoon.

South Ribble Police were called to Chorley Road around 2.25pm.

A silver Vauxhall Astra and a white Range Rover had collided near the Stonehouse Homes letting agents.

The silver Astra ended up going through the crash barriers and onto the pavement.

A police spokesman confirmed no one was injured and no arrests had been made.

The road has reopened as the vehicles have been recovered.
