There was an ‘epic fayle’ on Monday afternoon for one driver.

A lorry from Fayle Highways Maintenance became stuck at a bend in Walker Lane, Fulwood.

Many drivers use the road as a cut-through from Ingol to Fulwood and found themselves stuck due to the lorry drivers wrong turn.

Tranporting some machinery it became stuck around 2pm on Monday (22 January).

A JCB had to come and free the lorry and winch it to freedom.

The road is due to see development on the former Ingol Golf Club land to create a new training facility for Preston North End and hundreds of new homes.
