A woman has been mugged in a Preston city centre park.
The incident during Thursday (21 December) saw a woman approached by a man in Avenham Park.
The man, who had a knife, took a small quantity of cash from her according to Preston Police.
An eyewitness said the knife was held to the woman’s throat during the incident at around 2.30pm.
The man made off towards the river.

Preston Police said the man is described as white, in his 20s and carrying a JD sports bag.
