A Preston firm has been ranked as one of the most inclusive employers in the UK.
Disability Equality North West – which has its headquarter in Church Street, Preston city centre, has been recognised in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list.
Rated as 44th the firm has to demonstrate diversity including age, disability, gender, LGBT, race, faith and religion.
Chief executive of Disability Equality Melanie Close said: “We are delighted and honoured to be ranked 44 in the top 50 UK inclusive UK employer list.
“It is testament to the hard work of our trustees, volunteers and staff.”

The list is put together in partnership with Rullion – recruitment specialists – and aims to recognise ‘the outstanding efforts of organisations that have begun their journey to attracting and retaining a truly diverse workforce’.
EMEA partnership manager for Rullion Donna Herdsman said: “The UK companies on the list are showing by their actions that they are integrating what they believe into how they operate creating an inclusive culture, which begins at the very top of the organisation.”
