Someone has ruined this Preston scouts group’s minibus

A scout group has been left fuming after its minibus was vandalised.

Kept overnight at St Andrews Church in Ashton-on-Ribble the vehicle was damaged at some point on Wednesday (13 December) evening or the early hours of Thursday (14 December) morning.

One of the scout leaders Hayley Moon is appealing for help to trace those responsible.

She said: “We only got this bus two weeks ago and it cost us a lot of money, which we had fundraised for.

“The gold Ford bus is stored at the church in Ashton.

“Side panels have been taken, wing mirrors and wheel hubs.”

The 2nd Ashton Scout Group use the bus for trips out and it’s also used to support disadvantaged people in the Preston area.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Preston Police on 101 quoting SA1719804.
