Police release pictures of suspected stolen items after Preston burglaries

Police investigating a series of burglaries in Fulwood and Bamber Bridge have released pictures of suspected stolen property they have recovered.

Preston Police recovered the items from an address in Ashton-on-Ribble on November 28.

Detective Constable Warren Gibson of Preston Police said: “As a result of this investigation we have recovered a number of items which we believe to be the proceeds of criminal offences.

“We’d like to ask members of the public, especially those in the Ashton and Bamber Bridge areas of Preston, to check their sheds and garages to see if they’ve also been a victim of crime.

“If you recognise the items pictured, please get in touch.”

Update: Following an appeal for information, the items recovered have been linked to burglaries in the Garstang Road, Preston and Hazel Close, Bamber Bridge. The items found will be returned to their owners this week.

The appeal comes after Jamie Rawlings, 27, of Formby Close, Preston, was charged with five offences of burglary.

Rawlings is accused of taking the car of an 80-year-old man from the Fulwood area as well as a number of other items. He is due to appear in court on 2 January.
