TV personality Matthew Wright and BBC Radio Lancashire presenters joined a Christmas charity run in Preston.

Runners braved sleet and light snow to raise money for Beating Bowel Cancer in honour of Ben Ashworth who died in July after a battle with cancer.

Many runners donned fancy dress and inflatable bum cheeks for the Cheeky Santa Dash around Preston’s Avenham and Miller Parks.

Ben Ashworth died after a five year battle with bowel cancer.
