A man was treated for stab wounds after a fight outside a social club in Ribbleton.
Preston Police were called to reports of a large group of people fighting at around 1.24am on Sunday (3 December).
A 22-year-old man was stabbed outside the Greenlands Labour Club in Chatburn Road.
He suffered a number of injuries and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment and later released.
Police are still looking to trace a weapon.
Detective Sergeant Katie Clancy of Preston CID, said: “We’re appealing for anyone who was at the Greenlands Labour Club at the time of this incident, and who saw or heard anything, to come forward immediately.
“This was a nasty incident and we believe that others may have been injured too.”
