A man has been charged with two counts of robbery following incidents at McColls convenience store in Penwortham.
Jason Winstanley, 18, of Turpin Green Lane, Leyland appeared at Preston Magistratesā Court this morning (December 20)Ā charged with two counts of robbery.
At around 7pm on November 28, a man has entered McColls in Leyland Road where he approached the till and threatened a staff member with a knife. The offender made demands for money and left with around £200.

Police were called about another offence at aroundĀ 7.40pmĀ on December 4 after a man walked into McColls and demanded cash.
He then jumped over the counter and used a hammer to smash open the till before making off with a large quantity of cash and cigarettes.
