Investigation launched after deliberate motorcycle fire

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and Lancashire Police have launched a joint investigation after what they believe to be a deliberate fire.

Fire crews from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham attended a motorbike fire in Lostock Hall at around 4.32am this morning (December 19).

The bike was destroyed as a result of the fire and the investigation is now underway.

A tweet from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service read: “Deliberate motorcycle fire in Lostock Hall at 04:32hrs.

“Penwortham and Bamber Bridge attended.

“The bike was completely destroyed by the fire and an investigation into the cause is now underway alongside the police.”
