Concern as 13-year-old goes missing after school

Police are growing concerned for the welfare of a 13-year-old girl who has gone missing.

Update: Amelia was found safe and well at an address in Preston on Saturday evening. Police have thanked the public for sharing the appeal.

Amelia Delaney did not return to her home address in Preston yesterday (December 15) after leaving her school at 3pm.

A statement from Preston Police said: “We are concerned for the welfare of a 13 year old girl named Amelia Delaney who has not returned home at her home address in Preston and has not been seen since leaving school at 3pm yesterday afternoon.

“Amelia if you see this post we urge you to contact us or your family.”

Anybody with information on the whereabouts of Amelia should contact Preston Police on 101 quoting log number LC-20171215-1407.
