Britain’s Got Talent fans are in for a treat as semi-finalist, Daliso Chaponda makes his way to the city.
The comedian and writer charmed the UK earlier this year with his wittiness, and secured Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer in the UK’s talent contest, sending him straight into the live semi-finals.
He finished the show in third place, and since then has been been reached over eight million views on Facebook, and nine million views on YouTube.

Now the comedian is bringing his debut stand up tour ‘What The African Said…’ around the country, and will be appearing at Preston’s Guild Hall on 6 April 2018.
The tour now has 52 dates, and Daliso has also been confirmed for his own Radio 4 series entitled ‘Daliso Chaponda: Citizen Of Nowhere’.
Daliso Chaponda said: “Laughter is how I cope with pain.
“I have seen and experienced some horrible things but laughter helped me cope.
“Telling jokes is repaying the favour.
“This show is my thanks to the laughter.”

Daliso Chaponda, originally from Malawi, has lived in countries where the press is not allowed to criticise the government, and in others with no libel laws where they can say anything.
He has been both a journalist and a jaded newsreader, and through this he discusses what the media has become in his new show ‘What African Said…’.
The show is about recent news, old news, fake news, and stories that were never quite but were almost news.
It is also a show about gossip, tall stories and declarations of love.
Tickets for the show are priced at £16.50 per person and you can purchase them online.
You can keep up to date with Daliso by following him on Facebook and Twitter.
You can also watch him in action here.
