Dozens of bikers roared their way from Lane Ends to Ribbleton on Sunday for a good cause.

Preston and District RSPCA received bags of food, blankets and more to help look after the animals in their care over the Christmas period.

The Christmas run saw the 35 bikers take the supplies across the city and donate them.

Many of the items were donated by members of the public.

Laura Gunson, who organises the ride each year, said: “We had a fantastic turn out to bring all the wonderful donations to the centre.

“I like to do my bit each year to help the RSPCA as there are so many animals in need.

“Thank you to everyone who donated.”
