Switch Nightclub will see the six X-Factor finalists, including this year’s winner, performing at the venue.

After months of negotiations, the club have secured the contestants from the UK’s famous reality TV song contest.

They will be performing at Switch the Saturday following them leaving the show, meaning that the 2017 X-Factor winner will be making their way to Switch on New Years Eve.

The nightclub, formerly known as ‘Squires’ and ‘Cameo’, reopened in August this year following new ownership and a major revamp, and has been transformed into a brand new club.

Deputy Manager at Switch, Lee Johnson, said: “This will be great for the people of Preston.

“We have brought many acts to Preston over the past few months and we have only been open 3 months.

“Guest so far have included Tom Zanetti, Calum Best, Chuckle Brothers, Yungen, Fuse ODG, Bass Hunter and many more.

“We still have Lethal Bizzle and Bugzy Malone to appear in the next few weeks.

“It’s really exciting to have the X-Factor contestants performing at Switch.

“It’s down to the public to decide who will be coming to Switch each week, and the best thing is no one will know until the Sunday they’re voted out.

“We wanted to bring something new to Preston.”

The contestants will entertain you by performing on stage, and the public will later have the opportunity to have photographs taken with the special guests.

Lee continued: “Visitors will be able to book Switch’s new karaoke booths, which have been constantly booked out since we opened.

“Our ball pit has also been our most popular feature, we can’t believe it.

“And on New Years Eve, we have a big surprise coming along with our X-Factor finalist.”

The 2 December will see the contestant finishing in 6th Place perform, with 9 December seeing the 5th Place contestant.

This follows a consecutive pattern, with the 4th Place contestant performing on 16 December, followed by the 3rd Place contestant on 23 December.

This year’s X-Factor Runner-up will visit Switch on 30 December and then New Years Eve, 31 December, the club is excited to welcome the X-Factor Winner.
