Another antique Preston Guild mug has gone up for sale on eBay.
Following a Preston Guild 1842 mug being sold for more than £2,000 – another ceramic has been listed.
The extremely rare 1822 Preston Guild mug has already reached a going price of nearly £2,000.
Three days remain on the auction with two bids made so far.
The seller, crimsoncheek, from Preston, states in the description: “This is a rare opportunity to acquire an important part of historical Preston.
“Produced for the 1822 Preston Guild and at 195 years old it is in remarkable condition. There are some small nibbles around the top edge and a larger one around the base that I have tried to accurately reflect in the photographs. Nothing too horrendous for a 195 year old.”
