A teenage boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the leg in Ingol.
Preston Police are appealing for information after the stabbing in Mayfield Avenue on Halloween.
Police were called around 11.15pm on Tuesday (31 October) reports of an assault.
The incident round 11pm saw a 16-year-old boy from Preston walking with a friend when a fight started in front of them.
He was stabbed in the leg by one of the group with his attacker making off towards Tag Lane.
The boy was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Richard Shires of Preston CID said: “We are appealing for information following a wounding offence in Ingol.
“The victim was walking along Mayfield Avenue with a female friend when a fight has broken out in front of them.
“An unknown suspect has then approached the victim and stabbed him in the leg with a knife, resulting in serious but not life-changing injuries. The unidentified suspect and group then ran off towards Tag Lane.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or can assist with our enquiries.”
