A restaurant in Preston has launched its own take on a new KFC burger.

KFC launched the Double Down burger this month, which is a bunless burger featuring two chicken fillets, bacon, barbecue sauce and cheese, and it received a lot of attention due to its infamy in the US.

Solita, which has a restaurant in Winckley Square, has been offering their alternative Double Up burger in limited batches for a few years but have now launched it as a permanent offering.

It’s constructed in largely the same way, featuring two buttermilk chicken breasts, four slices of bacon, two slices of american cheese, one slice of chilli cheese and some 1000 island sauce.

The burger went on sale on October 26.
