Motorists using a busy road into Preston city centre are being warned of delays.
From Monday (27 November) there have been lane closures in Garstang Road and North Road at a key junction.
Patching work is being carried out along a stretch of Garstang Road from its junction with Blackpool Road to where it meets Moor Lane.
Lane closures and diversions are expected until Friday.

A spokesman for the county council said: “This involves putting patches over damaged areas to consolidate them and prevent further wear and tear in preparation for the road to be surface dressed next year, which waterproofs and extends the life of the road.
“Surface dressing relies on the weather being warmer and drier, so we carry out a lot of this sort of work at this time of year.”
