Preston came to a halt to remember its fallen soldiers.

Remembrance Sunday was marked by a veterans parade through the city centre.

The Flag Market was thronged with hundreds of people coming to pay their respects.

A two-minute silence was observed at 11am to remember those who have died in conflict throughout the generations.

The Last Post then sounded across the city.
