A power cut saw more than 50 elderly people left without power in Walton-le-Dale.
Electricity North West worked to restore power in the Hennel Lane area.
The power went off around lunchtime and was not back on until early on Saturday (25 November) morning – around 4.30am.
Around 22 properties were thought to be affected by the power cut and engineers were on site working to fix the issue.
