The south ramp of the Preston Bus Station car park has now closed for repair work.
It’s the latest stage in a major refurbishment of the grade-II listed building.
Lancashire County Council have released the latest update on the work and advised drivers of the closure of the car park at the Guild Hall end of the building on all levels.

Project manager for the county council Andrew Barrow said: “The latest work on levels one and two is nearly completed and they are about to reopen, so we’re now moving onto the next stage of the project.
“We hope that people will continue to bear with us while this work is carried out. We’re doing everything we can to minimise the disruption caused.
“The glass walkway to the Guild Hall will remain closed while this work takes place, but people can still exit through the bus concourse and walk across the road to the Guild Hall during this time.
“People using the car park levels now will notice a big difference compared to how it looked before the work was done. It’s a brighter and nicer place to park your car.”
