Trampolining, rugby and hockey can all be tried out for free as Preston Sports Festival returns.
Taking place at Fulwood Leisure Centre and venues across the city the festival has free sports club sessions for kids and adults.
Sports development officer at Greenwich Leisure Limited – who now operate the city’s leisure centres – Jessica Clegg said they had seena great response from sports clubs.
She said: “Building upon last year’s success Preston Sports Fest returns this year and gives local clubs in Preston the opportunity to open their doors to members of the public for free taster sessions.
“There has been a fantastic response from the clubs who are all extremely excited about being pat of a local celebration fro sport for a second year running – from football to taekwondo – there is something for everyone to try.”

Last year’s festival saw more than 200 people trying a new sport.
Taster sessions start on Saturday 4 November and run until Saturday 25 November.
