Preston’s Christmas lights were turned on during Saturday and they were twinkling down.

The Christmas tree is up at the Harris and lights are down Fishergate, Friargate and the side streets.

Paul Melling was out on a chilly night to capture the blue themed of this year’s lights.

The Harris itself is illuminated behind the Christmas tree, which has been moved up to the balcony from the Flag Market.
