The giant Christmas tree is back in Preston city centre ready for the festive season.

Preston’s Business Improvement District, who organise the city’s lights and decorations, said it was being returned to the Harris balcony this year.

Last year’s tree was sat on the Flag Market and was subjected to vandalism.

The tree is being decorated this week and going up onto the balcony, before being turned on with the rest of Preston’s Christmas lights on Saturday 25 November.
