A new cafe looks like it is heading for Preston’s high street.
Crystal House’s owners HVM have tabled proposals for a former shop to be converted into a new place to eat.
The empty shop between Cotswolds and Slaters facing into Fishergate may soon have a new lease of life.
They are remaining tight-lipped over who will be operating the new cafe opposite Waterstones.

Plans tabled by SAP Architectural Designs state: “The application seeks permission for the chanhge of use of the property with no external alterations to the existing building.
“The proposal will bring a vacant unit within the city centre back into economic use.”
