The car of an 80-year-old disabled man has been returned to him by police.
While the victim was sleeping at his home in the Lightfoot Lane area of Fulwood a Ford C-Max, TV and food were taken.
Preston Police put out an appeal to trace the car on Monday (27 November).
It was discovered near the Preston Docks area, using fake plates, and pursued.
A 27-year-old man from Ashton-on-Ribble has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is in police custody.
A mobile phone was also taken during the burglary.

PC James Harling said: “This is a great result. The gentleman is over the moon that his car has been returned to him. Our investigation remains ongoing and we will question the arrested man in due course.”
