Lights are set to twinkle at a Preston church in the run up to Christmas.

St Michael and All Angels Church in Ashton-on-Ribble is hosting its first ever Christmas Tree Festival.

More than 30 trees will be on display inside the church in Egerton Road.

It takes place from Friday 15 December (10am-4pm), Saturday 16 December (9am-4pm), Sunday 17 December (12-4pm) and is £1 to attend.

Afternoon tea and refreshments are to be served in the church hall.
