Lancashire Police has issued an appeal after a number of items were stolen from Astley Court.
The area, in Cromwell Street, Deepdale, provides flats for elderly and vulnerable people. It is managed by Community Gateway Association.
The items stolen were intended to be used for the residents over the Christmas period.
The incident occurred on Wednesday (November 15).

A statement from police said: “A person with access to the building entered the communal area and unscrewed locks from a locked storage room, the person then proceeded to take various wines, spirits, chocolates, biscuits and items of clothing all of which were to be enjoyed by the elderly residents over the festive period.”
