An Italian restaurant in Preston has closed its doors without warning.
Checco’s at the junction of Garstang Road and Watling Street Road in Fulwood has been closed since Monday (6 November).
Staff were apparently told by text message the restaurant – which opened in 2009 – had shut.
Checco’s Preston is still listed on Companies House as trading – as well as its Great Harwood restaurant which has been operating for more than 20 years.
The building on a busy road was listed for sale by Christie and Co in summer 2017 with offers over £100,000.

Checco’s is operated by directors Nicholas Falasca and Samantha Westby.
