Car of disabled man taken during Fulwood burglary

A car described as a ‘lifeline’ to a disabled driver in Preston has been stolen.

Lancashire Police are appealing after the Ford C-Max was taken from an address in Fulwood.

The owner, a disabled 80-year-old man, uses it to get around.

He also had his TV and food taken during the burglary.

The registration of the car is PF66OGD.

A spokesman for the police said: “We don’t ordinarily advertise stolen cars but this one made our blood boil.”

It was taken late on Sunday (26 November) evening.
