Body found at house in the Plungington area

A road in the Plungington area has been sealed off after a man’s body was found.
Emergency services have been at the scene of a house in Emmanuel Street, Plungington, since around 12noon on Tuesday (28 November).
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and Preston Police have vehicles and officers at the address.
A police spokesman said the death was ‘sudden’ but was not being treated as suspicious.

White screens have been put up across the road while the body is removed.
The section of Emmanuel Road closed off is between Ripon Street and Eldon Street.
