Two car crash causes Preston Docks delays

Mariners Way was closed on Saturday (28 October) lunchtime following a crash.

Two cars were involved in the collision which took place shortly after 12.30pm.

Emergency services closed off the road near the exit from the Morrisons garage.

A black saloon car and small white car were involved.

Buses were diverted from the Docks area in Ashton-on-Ribble while the crash was cleared.

The road re-opened around an hour later.

No one is thought to have been hurt in the crash.
