Teenage cyclist hurt in Deepdale collision

A teenager has been released from hospital following a crash in Deepdale on Saturday afternoon.


The 13-year-old boy was flown to Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool for treatment.

He was involved in a collision with a grey Volkswagen Passat in St George’s Road.

Preston Police shut the road shortly before 5pm on Saturday (14 October).

The boy was treated for head injuries but has now been released from hospital.

No arrests have been made at this stage.
