Rehearsals are well under-way for this year’s panto spectacular at Preston Guild Hall.
Brought back in-house last year the city’s main venue has confirmed its seven-strong cast.
Aladdin is set for a sell-out run at the Guild Hall, written and directed by comedian Phil Walker.
Paul Zenon (TV trickster) stars as Abanazar and Stacey McClean (S Club Juniors) is Princess Jasmine.
Nickoldeeon Junior presenter Carl Tracey has the lead role as Aladdin and Jeffrey Longmore is this year’s Widow Twankey.
Special effects for the show are being done by Freedom Flying and The Twins FX. Choreography is by Nicky Figgins.
Phil Walker stars as Wishee Washee, Marvyn Dickinson is PC Pong and Jonathan Mayor is Slave of the Ring.

Aladdin is running at the Guild Hall from Thursday 7 December through until Wednesday 3 January 2018.
There’s morning shows in the run up to Christmas and matinees on many of the days.
An opening night offer is in place for the first Thursday with two for one standard tickets.
Standard ticket prices are £19.50 for adults, £16 for children, £17.50 for concessions (students).
Group deals are available with a family ticket (two adults, two children) is £60 and for groups of 20 or more tickets are £13.50. School group bookings are £10 per person with a saving of £1 extra off each ticket is booked and paid for by 31 October 2017.
