Major road in Walton-le-Dale shut due to crash

Police have closed a major road in Walton-le-Dale after a crash.
South Ribble Police have confirmed a male motorcyclist is involved in the crash.
The incident has taken place at the mini-roundabout at the junction of Victoria Road and Chorley Road.
It’s close to the BP petrol station.
One eyewitness has reported seeing ‘people on the floor’ following the incident.
The crash is said to have taken place shortly before 7pm on Tuesday (17 October).
Chorley Road and Victoria Road are shut in both directions from the mini-roundabout.
