Preston has set a new Guinness World Record after holding the biggest clubbercise class.
Greenwich Leisure Ltd, in partnership with Clubbercise Ltd, organised the event as part of Clubbercise Glowfest.
Over 280 people took part in the official attempt which took place at the University of Central Lancashire on Saturday 30 September.

The world record attempt was led by Clubbercise Master Trainers.
The trainers created an electric atmosphere for the participants.
A sea of glow sticks illuminated the arena whilst dance club anthems, from past to present, helped to provide the ultimate party feel.
The Mayor of Preston, Councillor Brian Rollo opened the attempt, with an officialĀ Guinness World Record adjudicator present to verify that the largest clubbercise class attempt was a success.

After just over 30 minutes the adjudicator was able to present Greenwich Leisure Ltd and headline sponsor Clubbercise Ltd the official certificate to a mass of cheering participants.
The event was partly funded by the Big lottery and supported by numerous partners including, the University of Central Lancashire, Prestons College, Preston What Women Want project, Escape Lounges Manchester Airport, Coco Vita, Preston City Council, Sir Tom Finny Soccer Centre and over 20 volunteers giving their time to support the event in an official capacity.
