Fishwick house fire sees three people treated by paramedics

A fire on the first floor of a home in Fishwick saw three fire crews called out.

Three people suffering the effects of breathing in smoke were outside the house when the firefighters arrived.

Two crews from Preston and one from Penwortham put out the fire at 9.15am on Saturday (28 October).

The three casualties were treated by the North West Ambulance Service at the scene in Walton View, off Fishwick View.

No cause of the fire has been established at this stage.
