Fireworks display details for Penwortham confirmed

Penwortham’s annual free fireworks display is returning once more.

Sunday 5 November sees the Bonfire Night spectacular back at Pear Tree Park.

Put on by Penwortham Town Council the display is one of the biggest free displays in and around Preston.

Fireworks start at 7.30pm but the entertainment begins at 6.30pm with a children’s funfair.

The Town Council is urging people to avoid driving to reduce congestion around Middleforth Green off Leyland Road and Marshalls Brow.

Anyone bringing sparklers with them is asked to dispose of them in the metal buckets provided once cooled down.

Spent sparklers left on the park present a hazard and can caue injuires to children and pets.
