Tributes have been paid to a Ribbleton woman who has passed away in hospital.
Mandy Boar, 53, died in Royal Preston Hospital on Tuesday (10 October) from a suspected heart attack.
Her family have launched a fundraising campaign to help with the costs of Mrs Boar’s funeral.
Mrs Boar was taken to hospital after being the victim of a street robbery in Ribbleton on Thursday (5 October). A man has been charged in connection with the robbery.
A fundraising page, set up by a close family friend, Hannah Eidann Fry, asks for people to come together to help give Mandy ‘the send off she deserves’.
Hannah said: “She was a lovely kind hearted person who always put others first before herself.
“She was a lovely friendly person. She didn’t have any funds for a funeral.
“Her children are struggling with funeral costs so I have set up this page to see if anyone can help.
“Even if you can only donate a bit then it all adds up in the end.”
Mandy leaves behind a son Lee aged 33.
You can donate via the family’s GoFundMe page.
