Crash closes road near Larches chippy

Two cars were involved in a crash which closed off a road in Larches during Saturday night.

Preston Police were called around 8pm on Saturday (14 October).

A car crash took place outside Harbour City in Elswick Road.

At this stage it’s not known whether any of those involved have sustained major injuries.

North West Ambulance Service sent one ambulance to the scene.

The crash involved a grey saloon car and a black Ford Focus.

In another incident a police helicopter was seen circling Lea and Ashton.

Lancashire Police were searching for a stolen car from 8.15pm and located the car in an abandoned state.
