A charity dog fashion show will be making its way to Preston, for the first event of its kind.
Dawn Harkin has organised the unique event to raise desperately needed funds for the Homeless Hounds charity.
The fashion show will be taking place on Saturday 14 October at St Aidan’s Church Hall in Bamber Bridge.
It will start from 11am until 4pm and is set to be a fun-filled day for dog lovers – and their pets.
Dawn is the owner of Mucky Paws Pet Shop and Mutz Cuts Grooming Spa and so has plenty of experience with our four legged friends.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Homeless Hounds Charity.
The charity’s mission is to rescue and re-home, abandoned and abused dogs from the streets of Lancashire, giving them a second chance at a life, filled with love and security.
Support and fundraising is crucial for the charity in enabling them to give unfortunate dogs a new start in life.
Karen Kinder, Dawn’s sister, said: “My sister is running the event to raise funds for Homeless Hounds.
“I think it’s the 1st event if it’s kind certainly in this area and we are looking to get as much support as possible.”
