Police patrols across South Ribble have been stepped up after a number of recent burglaries.
South Ribble Police have issued a warning to homeowners after a number of ‘sneak-in burglaries and thefts from insecure vehicles’.
The break-ins have mainly been in Lostock Hall, Penwortham and Hoghton.
Police are asking residents to ensure doors are locked and windows are closed, including garages and sheds.
All vehicles should be locked and valuables removed.
