Arson investigation after car fire in Fulwood

Police are investigating after a car was set on fire in Fulwood.

Crews were called to a car on fire at a car park in Geneva Road, off Coniston Road.

The fire was in the wheel arch and tyre of the vehicle.

Firefighters from Fulwood put out the blaze shortly before 9pm on Wednesday (18 October).

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service believe the fire was started deliberately and have asked Preston Police to launch an arson investigation.
