Woman in hospital after Bamber Bridge crash

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash in Bamber Bridge.

She became trapped in her car after a collision between her vehicle and a van.

Two fire crews from Bamber Bridge attended and used specialist cutting equipment to free the woman from the car.

The woman, in her mid-60s, has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital by ambulance for treatment for a number of injuries.

The incident happened at the junction of Selkirk Drive and Grenville Avenue shortly before 1.30pm on Friday (22 September).
