A budding musician, who teaches music in Preston, has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Enterprise Vision Awards, after being nominated for Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Katy Bradley, KTB Music‘s Director, has been teaching music in the Preston area for 18 years this Summer.
She has secured a place as a finalist for the Enterprise Vision Award which recognises women in business from across the North West and celebrates their achievements.
Katy has been responsible for many enterprises over the years.
She began KTB Music in 2009 to bring music to people of all walks of life and this is represented by the numerous choirs she runs around the Longton and Leyland area.
She also runs the KTB Concert Band ran by KTB Music in Penwortham Community Centre.
A spokesperson for KTB Music said: “Her infectious enthusiasm encourages everyone to get involved, whatever their experience or standard. Music is for everyone.”
Katy has recently stepped up to run an extra-curricular music tuition in Penwortham Priory Academy as she is dedicated to bringing a better quality of musical life to young people through education.

Having recently released her debut single, Katy often performs as an after dinner speaker, ambient background music lounge singer, and has performed all over the North West includingĀ TheĀ Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool and The Lowry in Salford.
Katy made her debut at the Blackpool Opera House earlier this year, performing alongside Jimmy Cricket in BBC Lancashire’s Gilly’s Comedy Gala, raising money for Comic Relief.
