Social club hosting fundraiser for Rosemere

A Preston social club is pulling together to raise money for the fight against cancer.

New Meadow Street Labour Club in North Street is playing host to the fundraising day during Sunday (1 October).

Elaine Green and Alan Washam, committee members at the club who have had cancer battles, are both raising funds for Rosemere cancer treatment.

Four acts are on stage including Alan Kelly, Kyle Harrison, David Kenny and On The Level.

The event starts at 12noon and runs until 6pm.

This year’s Junior Miss Preston Jessica Jackson is due to appear as part of the fundraiser.

It’s £3 entry and there’s a bumper raffle and auction planned.

A Facebook event has been set up.
