Thousands of pounds worth of metal has been taken from a roofing firm in an industrial estate near Preston.

Preston Police have released a picture of the £20,000 worth of aluminium roofing struts.

That figure is their scrap value and police say they could be worth more.

The theft took place in Bradkirk Place, Walton Summit, around 9pm on Sunday (27 August).

Police say a red flat back wagon is understood to be involved.

Business owner David Watters is offering a £1,000 reward for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
