Work has begun on Preston’s newest hotel.
The old Post Office facing into the Flag Market has seen its new name confirmed.
Harris Hotel, being created by Signature Living, is set to be an upmarket boutique hotel.
The mini hotel chain, who already operate a number of hotels in Liverpool, is due to run a restaurant and venue inside the grade-II listed building.
Preston City Council sold off the building to the hotel group and plans were lodged in 2016 for its redevelopment.
