Footage shows multi-person street brawl break out in Deepdale

Footage passed to Blog Preston shows a multi-person brawl break out in Deepdale.

The incident took place on Tuesday, August 1 and resulted in two men involved being arrested.

They were later released without charge after being spoken to by officers.

The video shows an argument amongst a group of people, which eventually ends in violence with fists being thrown.

A statement from Lancashire Police said: “We were called around 8.40pm on August 1 to reports of a public order offence in St Cuthbert’s Road, Preston.

“It was alleged a number of people had been fighting in the street.

“Police attended and two men aged 35 and 39 were arrested on suspicion of affray.

“Both were spoken with by officers and later released no charge.”
